Colorado happenings

Friends,

We've only been home for alittle over a week and are getting settled in here in Colorado. We have gone to visit my mom and brother and some of my sisters for a small reunion for the day. She lives on a ranch so there is lots of acreage to ATV on and for Bodie to romp around. We had a great visit!

We are trying to get used to the chillier temps compared to Texas! Our highs lately have only been in the 60's. Darrell is out in the fifth wheel cleaning out cupboards and basement storage so we can get organized. I will be meeting with a landscaper this Monday to get quotes to install a patio!

Once I figure out how to post pictures I'll add some, so our postings won't be so-o-o- boring if I can add photos. I clicked on the tool bar above for photos but can't get to my photo's to browse so I'll play around more with it. So stay tuned!

We plan to go to Aspen for the July 4th holiday. There is a short 5 mile race that I (Linda) plan to run so am doing some training for that. I am trying to lose about 10 pounds so this running is a good start. I need to keep in training so I can keep trim! Last year, training for the marathon allowed me to eat to my hearts content but since I don't plan to run another one that long I will have to reduce those calories :(
